Brand new:
Brand new sealed..never opened
 
Like new Condition:
• No defects in LCD (no dead pixel damage, or discoloration in LCD)
• No marks on housing or Screen.
• No scratches or dents on back housing or corners of housing.

• Housing not bent. 
• Handset Includes its battery & back cover (accessories not required)
• Powers on & off.
• Can make and receive calls.
• WiFi 100% working 
• No faulty or missing buttons.
• No water damage.

Good Condition

• Can make and receive calls.
• WiFi may not be working 
• May have faulty or missing buttons.
• No water damage.

Faulty
Cosmetic condition ranges from Like New to Poor but some or all of the following are present:

• Not powering on but no major water damage
• Screen / LCD / Touchscreen is dead, cracked , faulty or bleeding.
• One or more major functions are faulty.
• Wi-Fi faulty.
• Camera faulty.
• Microphone or Speaker faulty.
• Connector faulty.
• Housing has major crack
• Not able to make & receive calls.
• Faulty or Missing buttons.
• Mild Water damage. 
• Battery LifeCycle below 50%.
• Housing very bent. 


PLEASE NOTE THAT PRICE RECEIVED UNDER FAULTY CONDITION IS THE LEAST YOU CAN RECEIVE DUE TO THE WIDE RANGE OF FAULTY CONDITIONS. YOU WILL MOST LIKELY RECEIVE A HIGHER PAYOUT AFTER ACCESSMENT.








No. generally these are CDMA phones, and have no Trade-in value.
Basic Questions

The buyback process goes as follows:

* Once you are satisfied with the offer and ready to go ahead, you can send us the weight and dimensions of your package so we can provide you with a free shipping label(preferred method). Or, you can choose another delivery method available on the site

* Your order will be shipped directly to 1 of 3 independent electronics testing and verification labs. Once your order is received by the lad you will receive, via email,  a receipt notification. If the order is materially different for what was expected, your will be contact to renegotiate  the offer before processing begins.  Upon completion of the testing and verification process the results will be uploaded to recomm.ca and made available for your review using your order number.

You can expect to get paid via the payment method you chose with 3 business days after testing is completed.

 

Typically you will receive payment within 6 to 10  business days after we receive your devices. This is because your devices must first go through a testing and verification process at an  independent testing facility before the payment amount is confirmed then issued.

We buy new, used and damaged cell phones, tablets, laptops, computers and other used electronics.
Account


Please click on the "My Account" at the top of our Home page. You will be prompted to enter your email address and Password.  If you signed out as a guest you can request that we convert your order to an account order at anytime. You would then be able to log in.

If you forget your password, please click onto the account tab at the top of our home page.
Enter the e-mail address associated with your account, then click forgot password.  We'll email you, where you can easily create a new password.

Please check your spam or Junk folders first.

All information collected is encrypted to security standards. 

All the information we ask for, when you place your order is essential for us to process your order and keep you up to date.
We do not sell, rent or otherwise pass on any of your details to other parties.
Posting

A detailed suggestion on packaging your shipment will be outlined on your order confirmation email after your initial quote. 

Recomm.ca will supply you a free Canada Post prepaid label. You and also use an alternative shipper of your choice and charge back the cost to us.



Once you complete the sales order, you will then have the option to have a free Canada Post shipping label sent out to you via email.

Please send your device(s) within 30 days of your online order.
Orders over 30 days will Expire. However, if you confirm your order with us within the 30 days, you can specify an expected delivery period that extends beyond the 30 days.

Expired order will need to be resubmitted
Simply login to My Account and Add New Order.
and there is no need to re-input your details.


For shipping we recommend our customers to use our free Canada Post prepaid label for delivery. In that way we assume the liability for lost packages. If you choose an alternative method of delivery, however,  we cannot assume responsibility until the package reaches us.

Our system will send you an email notification when your device(s) have arrived. 


When using Canada Post, your package should take approximately 2 to 7 business days to be delivered to recomm.ca
   With remote regional areas parcels can typically take up to 10+ days to arrive.

Yes you are able to accept devices as long as:
1. Devices are not Network Locked and able to work on 1 or more Canadian networks
2. You are part of a Canadian organization
3. You,, the customer, have to pay for the Postage.
Payment

Your payment is processed within 3 business from the date we test and confirm your devices. 
You will be notified by email, at each stage of the process from start to Finish.
You will be receiving at least 3 emails from start to finish.
 
Alternatively you are also able to get updates and payment status anytime by logging into your account online.

You can expect payment within 6 to 10 business days after testing.

If you have not received your payment within the specified period,
please contact our 
Customer Support Team by email. However, you can expect to be notified of any delays before the end of the allotted time period. 
What Model

Most models have a printed label on the back of the handset OR under the battery pack, if the back comes off.

Go to settings icon on your device, and scroll down to About.

You are also able to match your model, by going through the gallery pictures on our website by manufacturer.

We have dedicated staff updating our product range daily. However, if you cannot find your item on our website you can simply send us a message requesting a quote via email. Please make sure include as much info on the devices as possible.

Most models have the number printed on the back of the handset or if back door comes off, it can be found under the battery pack.

For Smartphones the IMEI number found by going to the Telephone KeyPad.

1. Press * # 0 6 # on your keypad.
2.Press ‘Call’ or ‘Send’ as if making a call.
3. Your IMEI number will be retrieved and displayed on your screen.

Phones have Brand followed by a Series of model and then the model name or number.

Example of SAMSUNG Brand and 
Series are:

You will always find the exact model number in [Settings],[About] or on the back of device or under the battery.
Cloud Locks

A: www.iCloud.com website.

  • Log into icloud.com/find with Apple ID and password
  • Select device from “All Devices” drop down and select your device (top, centre of screen)
  • Device pop up box will appear.
  • Click “Remove from Account “
  • confirm by clicking “Remove”
B: From another Apple device with same Apple ID (iOS 10.3 or later)
  • Tap Settings > [your name], then scroll down.
  • Tap any device name to view that device's information
  • Scroll down and Tap [ Remove from Account ]

Here is the way to turn it off Reactivation Lock from Google’s website.

  • Log into https://myaccount.google.com with your Google email address and password.
  • “Under Sign In & Security >” On left of screen - click on “Device Activity And Notifications”.
  • On the right of the screen click “Recent security events” and click on “REVIEW DEVICES”
  • You will now see all devices linked to your Google account.
  • Click on every single device which you want to remove (inc. the one mentioned above) and select REMOVE under account access.

Recomm.ca will only honor the Buyback price if you are the rightful owner.
If any product or products turn out to have been reported lost or stolen,
we will not process payment or  any compensation for the device(s).
We are required by law to hand in any product that is stolen to the legal owner or to the local police station. If you are the legal owner, we will wait until you get your devices removed from the lost or stolen data base before we start processing.

If your device fails our testing (differs from what you have stated), we will contact you by email.
You will be given the option to accept the adjusted price, or have your device(s) returned.

There is no fee for the return of your product(s).
If we haven’t heard from you after 3 days, we will continue to process the device at our tested price.

All devices are plugged into Mass Data Erasing software.
Even before we start to Grade and test your device(s).

All materials received by Recomm are Data erased to non reversible standards.
Any products that are DOA on arrival  are recycled and processed according to  National laws and in an environmentally controlled manner, eliminating ewaste to landfill.
